I will say this just about does the job for the price. The magnetic strip that holds the folding support to the iPad, is very weak to the point of being not particularly functional, making it unstable, and my I pad has easily fallen off several times which fortunately has not been a costly mistake. I have had to put some self adhesive Velcro strips on it to fix the problem. The track pad is not always responsive sometimes taking several attempts for it to do what you want it too. I will persist with it especially now I’ve put the Velcro strips on but to be honest had I known what I know now I wouldn’t have bought it and would have spent a little more money.

It’s not lightweight but it’s solidly built. Super easy to lift the iPad away and use it without an external keyboard. Back lit keys don’t show very much in the light of the iPad screen could be a lot better as they don’t covey the idea very well. I think it’s very good value though. Compared to the apple floating keyboard I prefer this one because I noticed when you use the touch screen with the apple keyboard the whole thing tips -too light and flimsy in my view. Finally every key is accessible and totally visible. Overall I like it a lot

Works well with my iPad.

Very impressed. Keys are very responsive which makes tying easy and the case offers excellent protection for the Ipad.

I truly do not know what to say. You are saving £300 with this compared to Apple’s Folio Keyboard case. It does the same job and has more features! I am really impressed with the quality and quite frankly this has to be daylight robbery at this point!

Quality is good. Fits snug and seems to protect well. Worth buying.

The whole package has no right to be as good as it is for the money – this is a solid, weighty, beautiful quality keyboard and case. The packaging is as good as Apple’s and the keyboard itself is fully featured (seven colours for the backlighting is just the start) and the keys and trackpad have my ‘Goldilocks’ approval. Just right in terms of travel and sensitivity. Tip: I went to Settings>Trackpad and reversed the scroll direction and turned on ‘Tap to click’ as that’s what I’m used to. The case is properly snug and well formed. The hinge on the stand reminds me of a grand piano and is pleasingly firm and tight. There’s also thought given to storing the pencil. All in all, I am so pleased with this for £63. With the official Apple keyboard case at £349 and the only discernible difference perhaps 10% better performance key-wise, an elevated position and being powered by the iPad (I’m glad my key is independently powered) this feels like I’ve stolen money from ESR. A genuine Apple contender for a sixth of the price? Yes, please.

I bought an iPad Air and purchased the Magic Keyboard and ended up ordering this one the next day. I won’t always need a keyboard and wanted a case for my iPad and I can’t do that using the Magic Keyboard unless I take the iPad out of the case each time. I didn’t want to do that either. This keyboard offers an additional row above the numbers compared to the Magic Keyboard and these keys provide you many options. Not to mention that it’s almost a 1/4 of the price. The keyboard is easy to pair and easy to use. Very happy with it. Returning my Magic Keyboard.

I like the keyboard and functionality. Works good. Just a bit heavier than expected.
