very firm, so keeps iPad safe
If you're mostly annoyed by the flap that covers the glass on most standard chep iPad cases, this one is a great alternative. Really improves your grip on the device, and has a nice simple textured pattern on the edge that keeps it from being too boring. Super-clear, lets the beauty of the Apple decign anf finish shine through. (The molded space for the pencil attachment is totally unobtrusive, for those of us who don't have an Apple Pencil.) Doesn't fit for my 12.9" ipad
I have a nice Targus case for when I'm out and about with my iPad Pro, but it's overkill around the carpeted house. This clear case provides slim and lightweight protection and makes the already heavy tablet easier to grip. I also use a glass screen protector, so I have no concern about scratches, and the corners seem to have a bit extra cushion. I also like seeing the iPad, such a beautiful piece of technology, through the cover. The hard plastic back seems to help the flexible edges retain their firm fit - I don't worry that I'll pull off the cover while holding it, as reviews of other covers complain. For around the house or office - where carpeted - I think this is a terrific solution.
