I'm not a fan of holders that mount on dashboard or windshield that obstruct the view of the road or even suction on top of the screens. So a holder that mounts on the air vent was perfect, unfortunately it has broken after 2 months of use, most likely caused by pulling the phone off of the magnet and not holding on the the magnet and then pulling off the phone. I believe that's all that is needed to extend the products usage/life over time. Therefore simply use with care and don't yank the phone off the magnet, hold onto both phone and magnet and pull off carefully and it will for sure hold up for a long time.

Works really well, strong magnetic hold. Just make sure it fits your car vent. Depending on where the vent it it might be in your way for driving. You need to by the magnetic sticker to put on your cell phone case to make it work. Make sure you read the fine print on the sticker for your case, it only adheres to specific material.

I've gone through several different types of phone mounts as a truck driver. Big trucks tend to be very, very bumpy, aggressively at times. So several mounts I've had, just don't hold up, and weren't really meant for holding a phone stable in big vehicles.I can confirm after 2 years of use, this is a very solid mount. The worst to happen with this thing is one of the arms did break (but it still held the phone, and still works), and the phone might move a little if you're backing under a trailer to connect, and you hit the kingpin a little hard, or if you hit a pot hole.This mount will keep your phone from flying, and after who knows how many miles on a big truck, this one is worth the money, fits into basically any vent because of its adjustibility, and I liked it so much, I'm buying a new one, and reviewing the old one after 2 years.Also, you can take the magnet part off, and replace it with an ESR wireless charger to get the absolute best combination of wireless charging, and an incredible vent hooking mount.

Securely holds the phone, even over pot holes. Very convenient for someone who needs to use a GPS without looking down into their lap. Worth the money.
