FAQ
The MagMouse supports two wireless connection modes: 2.4 GHz (USB receiver) and Bluetooth.
To switch between modes or turn the mouse off, follow these steps:
1. Flip the mouse over to access the mode switch on the base.
2. Adjust the switch to your desired setting:
● Slide UP (⬆) → 2.4 GHz mode (for use with the included USB receiver).
● Slide DOWN (⬇) → Bluetooth mode (pair with your device via Bluetooth settings).
● Middle position (⏸) → Power off (saves battery when not in use).
Note: In Bluetooth mode, ensure the mouse is in pairing mode (LED may blink) and select it from your device’s Bluetooth menu.
Follow these steps to resolve connectivity or power issues:
1. Charge the mouse for 45 minutes. When charging the LED indicator light up red. When fully charged the LED indicator will light up green.
2. Confirm the mouse is connected:
● For 2.4 GHz mode: Plug the USB receiver into a USB-A port on your computer.
● For Bluetooth mode: Pair the mouse with your device via Bluetooth settings.
3. Re-pairing in 2.4G mode:
● Slide the switch to the 2.4 GHz position.
● Press down and hold the Left and Right buttons, and the Scroll wheel for 3 seconds until the LED flashes green rapidly.
● Then insert the USB receiver into your computer's USB port to complete the pairing.
4. Reduce the distance between the mouse and the receiver.
5. Try unplugging and reinserting the receiver or use a different USB-A port.
Follow these steps to resolve issues with the mouse lagging or responding abnormally:
1. Restart your computer and switch the mouse off and back on.
2. Move the mouse closer (within 30 ft) to the computer or USB receiver.
3. Avoid using the mouse in environments with strong interference from other wireless/electromagnetic devices.
4. Make sure the mouse is fullt charged.
5. Use the mouse on a mousepad or non-reflective desk.
6. Make sure there are no metal objects between the mouse and the receiver.
This is typically caused by "natural scrolling" settings. Try these solutions. Follow these steps to resolve the mouse scrolling issue:
1. Disable Natural Scrolling:
● Windows: Settings > Devices > Mouse > Turn off "Scroll inactive windows when hovering"
● macOS: System Settings > Mouse > Uncheck "Natural scrolling"
● Linux: Mouse/Touchpad settings > Disable "Natural scrolling"
2. For Windows, if the issue persists, you can adjust the Windows Registry settings.
● Open Device Manager (Win+X > Device Manager)
● Expand "Mice and other pointing devices"
● Right-click your mouse > Properties > Details tab
● Select "Hardware Ids" and note the second value
● Open Registry Editor (Win+R > regedit)
● Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\HID\{your_device_id}\Device Parameters
● Find "FlipFlopWheel" and change its value from 1 to 0
● Restart your computer to apply the changes.
Note: Registry editing carries risks. Back up your registry before making changes.
The MagMouse has 6 adjustable DPI settings for precise cursor control. Press the DPI button on the top of the mouse to cycle through the DPI settings:
● 800 DPI (1 red flash)
● 1200 DPI [Default] (2 flashes)
● 1600 DPI (3 flashes)
● 2400 DPI (4 flashes)
● 3200 DPI (5 flashes)
● 4800 DPI (6 flashes)
Lower DPI = Slower cursor movement (better for precision tasks)
Higher DPI = Faster cursor movement (better for large screens/gaming)

2. Go to Hardware and Sound > Mouse
3. In the "Button Configuration" section, uncheck "Switch primary and secondary buttons"

2. Under "Primary mouse button," select "Left"
macOS doesn't enable mouse side buttons by default, but you can follow these steps to activate them :
System Settings Solution:
