Following the beautiful and powerful MacBook Pro 16 Inch launch in December 2019, there have been rumors to release a much needed, 13 Inch MacBook Pro.
As the 16 Inch was equipped with brand new improvements, such as the vastly improved keyboard, redesigned modern look of the MacBook and also better thermal handling of the system.
The MacBook Air got an upgrade this year in March which makes the specs of this laptop very close to the MacBook Pro 13 Inch. So if the air series is the same as the 13-inch Pro, then Apple will definitely have a release something soon to differentiate the two products.
Respected Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, whose predictions are often very accurate, has predicted that the New MacBook Pro 13-inch will launch in the second quarter of 2020.

According to another industry analyst, Jon Prosser, he claims that Apple might release a 14-inch MacBook Pro to replace the 13-inch MacBook Pro. It’s up to time to tell us if Apple will launch two versions; 13-inch and 14-inch or just the one size for all.
Apple did do something similar last year with the MacBook Pro 15 released in the summer and then released the MacBook Pro 16 in the winter.
Now you may be thinking “How much is this new 13-inch MacBook Pro going to cost?”
Well we don’t have any solid evidence as of now to give you any conclusions, but going with the history on the prices of the MacBook Pros and Apple’s usual pricing schemes we can do a good estimate.
The newest 16-inch MacBook Pro that Apple released in December has the same exact price as the MacBook Pro 15. Even though it’s a newer MacBook with extra features and benefits it is still the same exact price.
So if they are continuing to follow this pricing structure, the new 13-inch MacBook should be $1,299 at the entry level and giving consumers the option to upgrade with additional features.
At entry level we can expect apple to upgrade its storage – as it’s only 128GB currently. Even the MacBook Air’s entry level is at 256GB. Other upgrade will most likely include a later version of Intel’s 10th generation Ice Lake chip; going from an 8th gen chip to a 10th gen chip.
Along with a revamp of the keyboard with the Magic Keyboard that Apple has given to the 16-inch MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air. The new 13-in MacBook Pro should have the same keyboard as the other products.
Ming-Chi Kuo also predicts that Apply will upgrade the quality of the screens with new technology as they are working on the Mini LED display. Kuo believes that we would see that tech on the 14-inch MacBook Pro. So even though the MacBook screen are beautiful right now, it should look even better to the eyes with this new technology in place.
Only time will tell what Apple will do next, but we sure are all on the edge of our seats, waiting!
