With the look of things, hopes are high and eyes are fixed on September for the launch of the iPhone 14 lineup even though Apple corporation has not given a fixed day yet to their entire market populace. There are many reasons why people can’t wait for the unveiling of this smart-tech line-up, including its efficiency and low rate of power consumption. For a fact, people are looking for the most advanced tech specs in phones, and they seem to have found a resting place with the iPhone lineups over the years.

Will the iPhone 14 have better battery life?

The above question has continuously flown around as we await the arrival of the iPhone 14 lineup. Before we go further, you should know this: Since its inception, it is not in Apple’s custom to reveal any information regarding its upcoming products; however its suppliers and maybe tipsters often drop some licks on what can be expected from the tech giant as the production process takes place.

Everyone knows that the iPhone 14 lineup, when released, will be the best made by the Apple incorporation, for its unique specs and proven quality. Part of this is the rumored info that the iPhone 14 model could come with a very powerful A16 Bionic chipset, while the Pro models could have an increase of up to 8GB of RAM which is 2GB higher than the current maximum capacity, as well as extended storage of up to 2TB of storage beating the present storage of up to 1 terabyte at the maximum.

But apart from phone specifications like camera quality, RAM, processor speed, durability, and what have you, people are usually on the lookout for something else–battery efficiency. The battery life of an iPhone cannot be undermined as it is the powerhouse of the iPhone and a determinant of how long you’ll be able to use your iPhone without having to charge it. As a result, people are always on the lookout for bigger battery capacity and higher power efficiency.

It is no longer news that the iPhone lineup has been experiencing a ticker design as more versions are unveiled over time. Because of this, the iPhone 14 lineup (which will hopefully be launched in September) might bounce forth with a surprising battery upgrade. Tons of rumors about this mouth-watering upgrade have been speculated all over the place and people can’t wait to see this come into reality. From a retro redesign to an incredible camera tech to better battery life, the upcoming iPhone 14 lineups could not help but grab a lot of attention from die-hard lovers of the Apple innovations.

The New Battery Life

According to new reports flying around, there will be a dramatic improvement in the battery life across the iPhone 14 lineup. This dramatic turnaround won’t simply be achieved by just shoving a bigger battery into each phone build-up. Instead, a new, less power-hungry 5G chip would be used.iPhone 14 have better battery life

According to reports, Taiwan’s Economic Daily News had claimed that possibilities are that the iPhone 14 could sport a 6nm 5G chip which would allow for a physically smaller chip with less power consumption. In other words, this smaller space will not only allow for a bigger battery but will also be much more efficient, thereby paving way for a double whammy of battery improvements.

In addition to the battery and overall phone efficiency, the size of nm could also be reduced. Rumors have it that the A16 chip could come in at 4nm. It if does, it would be the first 4nm chip made by Apple, since the A15 uses 5nm. This simply means that the smaller nm, the better battery life, better efficiency, and performance.

Certain reports like Taiwan’s Economic Daily News reports have it that all of Apple’s orders for 5G radio frequency chips had been received by TSMC for the new ‌iPhone 14‌ lineup. This probably gives Apple a lead over Samsung. The chips are said to be slightly related to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X65 modem (Apple’s selection) and are purportedly produced using TSMC’s 6nm process. According to TSMC the 6nm process for 5G radio frequency chips provides an avenue for a physically smaller chip with lower power consumption. One exciting, and soul-relieving fact about this is that it doesn’t trade energy efficiency for performance.

More Space For Larger Battery

This TSMC’s 6nm radiofrequency process enables the chip to use less power consumption on both sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G bands, while simultaneously providing a high level of device performance. Reducing the size of the large RF transceiver component inside the iPhone while simultaneously increasing the overall efficiency makes room for more space. And for every additional square millimeter of space that is created by this reduction, more room is created, increasing the possibility of having a larger battery. In all, the miniaturization of the radio frequency chip and improved efficiency consequently result in better overall battery life.iPhone 14 have better battery life 2

In addition to the above, the radio frequency transceiver chip is also reported to feature Wi-Fi 6E support, which is in line with previously rumored claims that the ‌iPhone 14‌ lineup would probably support the Wi-Fi 6E upgraded connectivity. The Wi-Fi 6E provides all functions, features, and capabilities of Wi-Fi 6, but has lower latency, higher performance, and faster data rates, extended into the 6GHz band. And the added spectrum provides more airspace which beats the existing 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. Therefore results in less interference and increased bandwidth.

Conclusion

Apple incorporation has been making giant strides in the technological space, and with these smaller and more efficient chips thrown into the mix, the world would witness the most incredible iPhone battery life ever made. This great move would be favorably welcome by many because improved battery life is a good thing for creatives. Just imagine using your phone throughout the day without having to bother about the battery life. I mean, this is definitely a go for game lovers and those who use their iPhones heavily. Perhaps iPhone 14 Pro Max users could end up forgetting what their charger looks like.
